International Shipping Options

We offer three primary shipping methods:

1. Air Freight – Door-to-Door Delivery

Air shipments are handled through DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT, or India Post, depending on destination and service availability.

Benefits:

  • Fast and reliable delivery
  • Door-to-door service
  • Real-time tracking
  • Suitable for small to medium-sized orders

Estimated Delivery Time:
7–12 business days from the shipment date, depending on the destination country.

Customers may be required to:

  • Provide identity documents for customs clearance
  • Pay applicable import duties and taxes as per local regulations

Many countries are now benefiting from Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with India, resulting in reduced or zero import duties on eligible products.

Understanding LCL and FCL Shipping

LCL (Less than Container Load)

LCL shipping is ideal when your order does not require a full shipping container.

For example, a sofa set or a single furniture item may be shipped alongside other customers’ cargo within a shared container.

FCL (Full Container Load)

FCL shipping is used when a customer books an entire container, typically:

  • 20-Foot Container
  • 40-Foot Container

This option is commonly selected for bulk orders, commercial shipments, or complete furniture projects.

Documentation requirements are generally similar for both LCL and FCL shipments.

Sea Freight – Port Delivery

Under this option, your shipment is delivered to the nearest designated seaport or inland dry port.

Process:

  1. Shipment is loaded into a container in India.
  2. Cargo arrives at the destination port.
  3. Customer is notified upon arrival.
  4. Customer arranges customs clearance and collection.

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Appoint a local customs clearing agent
  • Pay port handling charges
  • Pay import duties and local taxes
  • Arrange transportation from the port

Additional charges vary according to local customs regulations and destination port policies.

Sea Freight – Door-to-Door Delivery

For maximum convenience, we also offer door delivery through our international logistics network.

How It Works:

  1. Shipment is dispatched from India.
  2. Our overseas delivery partner receives shipment information.
  3. The local agent contacts the customer during transit.
  4. Upon arrival, customs clearance is completed.
  5. Shipment is delivered to the customer’s address.

Important Information:

  • Customers must provide required customs documentation.
  • Import duties and taxes must be paid by the customer.
  • All shipping and freight charges are prepaid except customs duties.
  • Inside delivery, installation, and unpacking services are generally not included.

Local delivery regulations may vary and are subject to change.

ISF Filing (United States Shipments Only)

For ocean freight shipments entering the United States, Importer Security Filing (ISF) is mandatory.

We generally assist with ISF filing. Customers using their own freight forwarders may arrange ISF filing independently.

ISF filing helps U.S. Customs process shipments efficiently and comply with import regulations

Bill of Lading & Shipping Documentation

Once the shipment is loaded, a Bill of Lading (B/L) is issued as proof of shipment.

We provide all required export documentation, including:

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Bill of Lading
  • Material Declaration Forms
  • Lacey Act Documentation (if applicable)
  • Plant Species Forms (if applicable)
  • Any additional customs documents required

Most documentation is exchanged electronically unless original hard copies are specifically required by local customs authorities.

Customs Duties & Taxes

Every country applies its own import duties, taxes, VAT, GST, or customs fees.

Important Notes:

  • Import duties are never prepaid.
  • Duties are assessed only after the shipment reaches the destination country.
  • Payment is made directly to customs authorities or the appointed customs agent.
  • Rates vary depending on country, product category, and applicable trade agreements.

Customers are advised to consult their local customs office or customs broker for accurate duty estimates.
